| Pennsylvania Principal Position Opening For A Juvenile Facility |
Corrections Education Program Principal:
Full-time position working 260 days per year as a principal for the corrections education program at the North Central Secure Treatment Unit (NCSTU). NCSTU is a residential at-risk youth treatment facility for boys and girls located in Danville, PA. Position will supervise teachers, guidance counselors, social workers and support staff assigned to the education program at NCSTU. Position is responsible for coordinating, facilitating and supervising the instructional programs for all students enrolled at CSIU schools at NCSTU, in conjunction with the needs of the Department of Human Services and school district staff. In addition, will be responsible for the overall coordination of budget, curriculum, data analysis/reporting, guidance services, policies/procedures and technology services for the CSIU schools at NCSTU.
Salary Range: $83,000 to $88,700 dependent on experience.
Minimum requirements include a master’s degree in education or closely related field and a valid Pennsylvania Administrative Secondary Principal certification (grades 7-12). Experience working with at-risk youth and knowledge of Special Education processes and Pennsylvania regulations also required. Able to work productively with the Department of Human Services and school districts’ staff is essential.
